Interests: God and Brookwood, Falls Creek and Super Summer, friends and family, and other than that I tend to dabble in music and my guitar, movies, and OU football, soccer, my car and going places in it, anything Rob Bell does Expertise: I am not really that good at anything. I would like to think that I am funny, but I am pretty sure that most of the time people are just laughing out of pity, so I don't have much going for me here... | It looks like xanga really is about dead, nobody updates anymore, and I dont really have a desire to either... I think I may keep this site up so I can keep track of other people and see what they are up to, and to comment, but other than that I think I am done on here. Its been fun, and I never thought this day would come, but see ya xanga world...
This is the song that they end every concert with, so I thought it apropos to end my xanga career with my favorite bands closing song (it has a real tight solo at the end too).
***Last EDIT ever***
Changed the header again, wouldn't ever put such fictious garbage up normally, but since I am done I will make Grace's, well probably life and put it up. I am OUT!
| Some pictures from Falls Creek '06, entry to follow later.
No longer Brookwood, now it's BROOKHOOD!
Banner Thing
Focus Theme of the week (stolen from a song by Pink of all people)
Blue, Yellow, and Pink... that's kinda ghetto right?
We made the stage into an ally/ghetto, took a lot of work, but looked really tight in person.
Turntables during worship?!?!?! BROOKHOOD!
That's about all I've got.

| Falls Creek Time!!! Call or text me this week, and I will call you back when I can. Please be praying for us and that we have a safe, fun, God-filled experience. I am so tired from working to get ready for it and setting up today, and we are not close to done. I need to go pack now and do my Sunday school lesson for tomorrow, and then I will be heading right back in the afternoon to hopefully finish it all up. This post was about useless... | | |
| Too tired to do a real update, but get the new David Crowder* Band album! I think it is probably my favorite. So good.
***EDIT***
So yeah, this cd is about amazing. I don't think that I have ever been as spiritually moved by a cd before as this one, but I was blown away by it. B Collisions are some acoustic guitar and banjo lead, more mellow versions if songs on his last album. It is so good. My favorite song is still "I Saw The Light" but this version of "Everbody Wants To Go To Heaven" is so tight. The last verse is especially powerful. This song packs as much punch as anything Crowder has ever put out. I think I will put the lyrics to it up here.
Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven
Everybody wants to go to heaven But nobody wants to die Lord, I want to go to heaven But I don’t want to die Though I long for the day when I have new birth Still I love livin’ here on earth Everybody wants to go to heaven But nobody wants to die
Once upon a time There lived a man And his name was Hezekiah He walked with God both day and night But he didn’t want to die He cried, “O Lord, please let me live Death is close, I know.” Lord smiled down on Hezekiah Gave him 15 years to go
Everybody wants to go to heaven But nobody wants to die Lord, I want to go to heaven But I don’t want to die Though I long for the day when I have new birth Still I love livin’ here on earth Everybody wants to go to heaven But nobody wants to die
Jesus lived here on this earth He knew his Father’s plan He knew that He must give His life To save the souls of man When Judas had betrayed Him Our father heard Him cry The King was brave until His death But He didn’t want to die
Everybody wants to go to heaven But nobody wants to die Lord, I want to go to heaven But I don’t want to die Though I long for the day when I have new birth Still I love livin’ here on earth Everybody wants to go to heaven But nobody wants to die
| Well I asked for suggestions as to what should go up in my title thing on here, but I only got one... someone please save me from it!
We are gonna debut two new songs on Wednesday, I think two, this is one of the possible ones, so I am working on learning how to play the guitar and then learn this song. I love it, my favorite from Passion '06.
I will come up with something worthwhile to post about later.
